Tenuta Carretta Cayega Roero Arneis- 2023 (750ml)

A deliciously refreshing example of Piemonte’s most important white grape, one that focuses on crispness and vigor over perfume and volume.  The stone fruit on the nose and palate pick up just a tiny accent of white flowers and then snaps to a zippy, dry, close. JamesSuckling.com describes it well: “Lovely fresh fruit to this arneis, with sliced apples, lemons and peaches on the nose. It’s medium-bodied and bright. Crisp, lively finish.”
