Old Taylor 1970's Japanese export 86 proof (750ml)
If you look closely at the label of this Old Taylor 86 Proof bottle, you’ll see a little square with a castle in it. Believe it or not this was the Old Taylor distillery, built to look like a real medieval castle! Smack bang in the middle of Kentucky! This kicked off a craze for bourbon tourism and these days you can follow bourbon trails all throughout the South, but popping by the castle that started it all is definitely a must. The Old Taylor brand itself was created in the 1880s by Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. You can see his face on the left-hand side of the label.
