Odfjell Aliara Red Blend - 2018 (750ml)
Aliara is the Spanish word for the small tin cup used to ration alcohol on sailing ships long ago.  Our Aliara is the best red blend from our three distinct vineyards in Maipo, Lontué and Maule.  Crafted from small batches and aged in 500 liter French oak barrels, our intent is to capture the acidity and liveliness in this structured full-bodied blend.
28.5% Syrah, 24.5% Carignan, 16% Malbec, 10% CarmĂ©nère,  8.5%  Cabernet Sauvignon, Â
7% Tempranillo & 5.5% Tannat
Tasting NotesÂ
Concentrated deep violet in color, the nose is attractive and intense with aromas includingÂ
hazelnuts, dates, and dried figs, as well as notes of jasmine and roses. The palate isÂ
sophisticated, intense, and juicy complemented by chocolate, coffee, and tobacco leaves.Â
The finish is long with ripe and velvety tannins for an unforgettable experience.
