A fragrant nose with spiced cherries, dried strawberry bush, chocolate and dark spices.
Hints of bark, too. Medium-bodied with savory character and firm tannin structure. Balanced and even with a velvety finish. Drink after 2025.

Franco Massolino urges us not to regard Barbaresco as second league compared with
Barolo, just more elegant. This wine, a blend of fruit from their three vineyards there,
usually spends 18 months in oak. Very bright, pure, pale garnet. Very fruity, perfumed nose – high toned. Very delicate fruit indeed leads to quite a tannic grip. With food you could almost drink this now. 14% Drink 2025 –2035
