Louis Jadot Famille Gagey Bouzeron - 2022 (750ml)

Bouzeron is a small village located in the Côte Chalonnaise next to Rully. The size of the appellation is very small: 47 hectares.

This appellation is quite new: it was created in 1997.
Bouzeron only produces white wines exclusively with the Aligoté grape. This grape is very old in Burgundy (17th century) and has been replaced everywhere by the Chardonnay grape.

Grapes are harvested by hand and put in small cases in order not to damage the fruits. 1/2 to 2/3 is vinified in tanks and 1/3 in oak barrels (20% new barrels) during 14 to 15 months on fine lies before bottling.
