Don’t let the pale color fool you, this is a substantial wine.  Aromas of red fruits and spice complement undertones of cranberries, wild berries, and plums.  On the palate, ripe tannins and substantial body make for an incredibly rich, yet easygoing red wine.

Orange-hued with a tinge of hot pink, the 2023 Rosato Segno Librandi Ciro slowly evolves in the glass with a nuanced mix of stone dust, sage and nectarine. It’s lively and wicked fresh, with cooling acidity and tactile mineral tones up front, giving way to a core of citrus-tinged green apples. A cascade of inner florals resonates throughout the long and tense finale, as the 2023 leaves the mouth watering for more. This is a bit more subtle than previous vintages yet remarkably pretty all the same. - Eric Guido May 2024
