Langlois Coteaux du Giennois Sauvignon Blanc - 2023 (750ml)

This is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Coteaux du Giennois a small appellation between Sancerre and Pouilly Fume in the upper Loire.  The winery has been certified organic since 2022.  Starting with an oceanic inspired, blue/green mineral tone in the nose followed by hints of green plums and a hint of waxy fruits.  The palate is dry, and while if not as chalky as a Sancerre, offers plenty of textural richness.  This heartier version of Loire Sauvignon Blanc would be delicious with freshwater fish or creamy dishes from alfredo to Thai curry.
