La Ronciere Moussai Pinot Noir - 2024 (750ml)

La Ronciere Moussai Pinot Noir - 2024 (750ml)

Harvest
The grapes come from our Idahue vineyard, located in Licantén, 25 km away . of the Pacific Ocean and next to the Mataquito River. A hand picked harvest was done and a later selection of the best bunches.

Vinification
The Fermentation is done in open wooden barrels. Gentle trampling of the skin is carried out during fermentation, at ranges of 18°C and 20°C, for seven days; to continue with aging in barrels for 2 weeks while malolactic fermentation occurs.

Winemaker’s Comments
Deep ruby red wine with aromas of plum, caramel and cherry jam. In the mouth it is soft and juicy, with friendly tannins and persistent fresh acidity.

We say that this wine offer outstanding value.  Aromas are composed of cherry preserves backed by hints of cardamom spice and a delicate toasted, pastry like element from the oak aging.  On the palate the fruit expands into blue fruit while structurally the wine is light, lithe and lean with fresh acidity.  It almost feels like a mash-up of Oregon and lighter weight French PN in style.
