(2002 vintage) "Cinnamon, spice, black cherry and strawberry jam make for an inviting nose with orange peel, five spice, and licorice and vanilla aromas. Ripe, round, dry and slightly tannic it offers waxy, peppery, cherry jam, rootsy, vanilla, smoky flavours. Very good concentration and elegance all with fine fruit throughout.
