Early Mountain Cabernet Franc Shenandoah Valley - 2022 (750ml)

With its savory leaning aromatics and elegant mouth feel, Shenandoah Valley Cabernet Franc this texture can be reminiscent of pinot noir.  The Shenandoah Valley is home to many vineyards growing cabernet franc, which can greatly range in attributes.  We believe this grape can shine as a varietal wine when it is unencumbered by heavy new oak and long aging. The result is a wine that is both graceful in stature and compelling in detail, walking a fine line between subtlety and complexity. The aromas are a mingling of red and black fruits with rosemary, forest mushrooms and black pepper. The fruit/savory dynamic continues on the palate, which is rich with persistent, with ripe tannins and subtle acidity.
