The 2004 Latitude 38, a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc, is a gorgeously elegant wine with beautiful, subtle roasted herb notes intermixed with black cherry, cassis, licorice, and a touch of graphite. The wine is clean, pure, medium to full-bodied, with nothing out of place. This is a terrific wine that has the elegance and complexity of a great Graves."
