Vignobles Bodillard Saint-Veran “En Faux” - 2022 (750ml)
VINEYARD: En Faux is the Climat located on the village of Chasselas. The vineyard is right next to the Pouilly Fuissé Appellation and there is a good chance it will become a 1er Cru shortly.  The 20-50 year old vines are planted on Southwest facing slopes composed of limestone, clay and fossil rocks.
WINEMAKING: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and aging is in oak casks for a minimum of 9 months depending upon the vintage. New oak barrels are not used for this wine; the newest barrels have been used three times. The goal is to bring roundness to the wine without a taste of oak.
TASTING NOTES: This is a full bodies wine with aromas of apricots and citrus fruits. Its color is a very pretty, lightly golden yellow. It is a dry wine without residual sugar. Good minerality and smooth with fine balance.
