Domaine du Clos des Poulettes Bourgogne Cote-d'Or - 2020 (750ml)
Winery Notes:
The name Côte d'Or is an abbreviation of "Cote d'Orient", a coast facing east as are the vines of Nuits and Beaune. This is where the best vintages come from, hence the name to distinguish the vines that are next to them. The reputation of its wines is such that it gave its name to the department during the Revolution. A prestigious appellation for the best appellations of regional Burgundy.
In 2017, the appellation "BOURGOGNE CÔTE D'OR" became a Burgundy with a Complementary Geographical Designation. This designation is reserved for red and white wines produced within the 40 communes, from a delimited area, over 65 km long from the Côte de Beaune to the Côte de Nuits, over one to two kilometers wide, from Dijon to the Maranges. In white, the cultivated area is estimated at 333 ha
