Produced as a white wine from one of the oldest vineyards (40+ years old) of Pinot Noir in the Languedoc. The vineyards are located in isolated valleys north of Faugeres, in the North-Central Languedoc.Ā A small proportion of Viognier (~5%) add a slightly richer, oily texture to the palate.
This wine shows its red grape roots with the barest hint of pale, rose gold in the glass. Aromas are an amalgam of crushed raspberry, peach nectar, and dried rose petals. On the palate it offers a fresh and light texture with just 12.5% alcohol, "digestible" as some commentators may state.Ā We'd say that it invites another sip or bottle.
The grapes are organically farmed and sulfur minimized or excluded during the winemaking, based on vintage conditions.
