Devison Vintners GPR - 2022 (750ml)
"Named the Glass Pour Rhône, this wine has a reputation for value, and in the 2022 iteration, it wildly over-delivers, almost unbelievably so. It's a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre from some of the Columbia Valley's top sites, including Les Colline, Naravane, Boushey, Scarline and Thunderstone, the latter from the Lawrence Estate in Royal Slope. It delivers on a core of savoury elegance, with the unmistakable character of Boushey and the Rocks site, Navarene. There's a rustic beauty in its authenticity, with dried lavender and violet aromas alighting from the glass framing dried desert scrub and a hint of cranberry. The palate is lively with candied raspberries, tart hints of blood orange and a wonderful savoury character of smoked sea salt and wild anise. Delightful and undeniably captivating." 94 Points, Decanter
This is a blend of 56% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 4% Mourvèdre, coming from a number of top sites that include Boushey, Southwind, Stoney Vine and Lawrence. Aromas of berry, pipe tobacco, ground pepper and fresh herbs lead to center-focused fruit flavors that are full feeling but still light on their feet. There's plenty of structure behind it all. — Sean P. Sullivan, 92 Points, Wine Enthusiast
