The 2021 Malbec Cuartel 2, from Perdriel, LujƔn de Cuyo, was aged for 12 months in used barrels. Dark purple in hue. The ripe nose presents violet, fresh plum, bay leaf, pepper and gentle woody aromas. Mint makes a late appearance. Fleshy with good fat, grippy, refined tannins and substantial volume. The finish is fruity.
