(2018 vintage) "This is almost all varietal, with just a smidge of Cabernet Franc (3%). The aromas bring brooding notes of spice, anise, and cherry drop. The palate is dense and structured, with firm but polished tannins. A pleasing lick of fruit persists on the finish. It's much more about the future than the present. Best after 2028. Sean P.
