Chateau Malherbe Cotes de Provence 'Madame Ferarri' Rouge - 2023 (750ml)

Chateau Malherbe Cotes de Provence 'Madame Ferarri' Rouge - 2023 (750ml)

The robe is pale with ruby and magenta reflections. On the nose, a floral and complex bouquet combining rose and peony petals, complemented by fruity notes of blood orange and red fruits. Richness and complexity. The chewiness and subtle bitterness lend its nobility and elegance.

A blend of equal proportions of grape varieties from our oldest plots (80 years old): Mourvède from plot n°18, Grenache from plot n°17, Cinsault from plot n°13 and Rolle from plot n°16.

95 points Decatner World Wine Awards

An intriguing and idiosyncratic style: hedgerow fruit, fresh herbs and savoury balsamic notes over a lustrous texture, sustaining coffee tannins and a long prune-infused finish.

90 points Wine Spectator

An outlier in style, this is very pale garnet and light in body but definitely not a rosé. There’s a lovely, aromatic range to the notes of wild strawberry and cassis, with barely perceptible, silky tannins, plus hints of sandalwood smoke and singed herbs. This would be delicious served chilled. Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle. Drink now through 2028. 250 cases made, 1 cases imported.
