Champy Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru - 2010 (750ml)

A distinctly floral nose also evidences ripe aromas of a pretty mix of red berry fruit and warm earth nuances. The medium weight plus flavors are quite supple and round with a generous mid-palate before tightening up on the focused, powerful, austere and very linear finish that delivers seriously impressive depth and length. As good as this is, and it's very good, note well that this is a buy and forget effort that should not be touched for at least 10 to 12 years and it will almost certainly need 15 to 20.
