Casarena Naoki's Vineyard Malbec - 2018 (750ml)

Winemaker's Notes:

Grapes go through a double hand selection of clusters and berries. After a careful destemming, the fruit performs a cold maceration with whole berries. To assure a maximum aromatic expression, we start with a natural alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures. In oak barrels, the wine experiments a spontaneous malolactic fermentation and it is naturally clarified.

Tasting Notes

Deep red purplish color, bright with violet hues. On the nose we can find a strong mineral profile typical of the vineyard, as well as other typical notes of the varietal: plum and fresh red fruit; it is complemented with a slight spicy note provided by the native flora in the zone. In the mouth, its freshness and kind tannins stand out. It is a complex and balanced wine with a persistent final.
