Cantine Povero Monferrato Dolcetto - 2024 (750ml)
Winemaker's Note:
From the 14th to the 19th century, Asti, the most important town of Monferrato, hosted the Palio, a famous horse competition. Capitano del Palio means āCaptains of the Palioā. He opens the historical procession and guarantees the correct running of the race. The Thursday before the Palio, he chooses the best flag-wavers.
The color is a ruby red with violet reflections. The aromas are delicate and fruity, with notes of blueberry, plum, violet, and cherry. The palate is full-bodied and pleasantly dry. The long finish has a note of freshly cut grass. Fantastic throughout the whole meal.
