Canicatti Scialo Nero d'Avola Syrah Blend - 2014 (750ml)

Fresh, fun and fleshy. This slightly spicy, medium bodied wine offers a combination of dark fruit and spicy aromas from Syrah combined a warm baking spices, red fruits and hint of earthiness from the Nero d'Avola. The palate is juicy and easy going, firming up on the finish due to the Syrah's rich and silky tannins. Per the winery, this is ideal paired with: ravioli with ricotta cheese and pork sauce, cavati pasta with black Nebrodi pig, stewed wild boar liver, paprika goulash, lamb leg stuffed with herbs. Also amazing with hard, matured and spicy cheeses.
