Originally created in 1845 and named after London's Boodle's Gentleman's Club, St. James's, London (est. 1762), this gin has a rich history. Ā In the 1980s Boodles London Dry Gin was still only available at Boodles Gentleman's Club or on the US and Japanese market. Ā Making it available to the general British public would have been unthinkable. Ā Still, that didn't mean it wasn't a British classic!
Having been discontinued and then revived, this bottle is not to be confused with its current incarnation said recent revival.Ā
We particularly enjoy the double-sided label that, after a few Martinis might make it difficult to determine which is front and which is back. Ā Not that it matters, mind...Ā
