Bodega Colome Autentico Malbec - 2021 (750ml)

(2021 vintage) "This is from a selection of vineyards at about 2,300 meters that Colomé owns in the Calchaquíes Valleys. As in all of the house wines, although perhaps more deeply here, the strong presence of the ripeness of the fruits is evident, contrasting with the firm and tense acidity that accompanies the wine till the finish. The flavors and aromas are clearly fruity, ripe, and succulent. A wine with very good body and polished tannins (as is the house style) for meatloaf. It's called Auténtico (authentic) because it tries to emulate Colomé's original style, back when barrels did not exist in the winery and the wines were aged solely in cement tanks." - Patricio Tapia - Descorchados
