Yellow in the glass with a golden sheen. The nose presents inviting honey, chamomile, cashew and hazelnut aromas against a creamed corn backdrop. From a vineyard in the Agrelo zone of the Luján de Cuyo DOC and about 930 meters above sea level, at the beginning of the Andean foothills, 20% of this semillon was aged under a veil of flor (like the yellow wines from Jura) that winemaker Alejandro Vigil usually uses to give his whites a touch of complexity, that saline side of the flor. It's intense and honeyed, ample, juicy, and rich in ripe-fruit flavors with that touch of saline from the flor that appears toward the end of the palate.
