The 2012 Saignée Millésimé des Terres Amoureuses 1er Cru is a gorgeous Champagne that captures the essence of what saignée Champagne is all about. Rich and bold, with tons of fruit richness, the 2012 is simply captivating. Sweet red cherry, red plum, mint, rose petal and lavender are all pushed forward. The 10 grams of dosage is perhaps on the high side, but it's hard to find too much fault with a Champagne that is so exquisitely delicious. -- Antonio Galloni
