Beni di Batasiolo Barolo - 1997 (750ml)

Lovely plum, coffee cake and spice aromas. Full-bodied and chewy, with slightly astringent tannins, but there's a good amount of ripe fruit to back it up. Needs time in the bottle. Best after 2004. 22,000 cases made.
