A red wine made from Tempranillo grapes from vines over 60 years’ old cultivated in estate vineyards located within the municipality of Samaniego, Rioja Alavesa.
VINEYARDS
Various micro-plots (<1 Ha.) situated in the municipality of Samaniego, Rioja Alavesa with its characteristic very poor chalky-clay soils. Average age of the vines: >60 years.
Average altitude of the vineyards: approx. 600 metres. Training system: bush vines and bushes raised on trellises. Sustainable viticulture with 100% manual working.
Deep cherry red colour, compote fruit aromas, aromatic herbs, bread and figs. Sensation of macerated fruits, raisins, tobacco, smoky and liquorice. Very round and tasty in the mouth, with a long and persistent ending.
