Artadi Pagos Viejos - 2003 (750ml)

Good full ruby-red. Superripe, slightly high-toned aromas of dark raspberry and licorice. Extremely ripe, rich and sweet, with a remarkably lush texture and early accessibility for Rioja. Here the new French oak gives necessary shape to this almost exotically sweet wine. Probably not for long keeping, but a major mouthful of wine.
